ANGRY!!argos £5+£10 vouchers not available in northern ireland

I am REALLY angry as i have just discovered that argos are excluding their northern ireland customers from their voucher offer.
Every year i have used these offers to help me out at christmas because lets face it,every little helps with three daughters under 8!
Anyway i have just read on their website that this year they are excluding us-isnt that like racism!!?? Whats so different about northern ireland,our money is just as good!

We always got to take part in the offer in previous years-as i said it really helped me out before even more so this year-or not as the case may be-because our youngest is celebrating her first birthday 0n 19th dec!!

Well I've emailled them to express my anger. Just have to wait to see if I receive some explanation................ don't hold your breath

Northern Ireland have been excluded as they want to see how much of an effect on sales a Gift Card promotion has, and northern Ireland has been chosen as its easy to not advertise to an entire Country on TV/Press etc than say Essex Excluded or something. Crappy, but thats Argos these days.

Not racist at all, just the way marketing work when they segment their market place. It could have been anywhere but I guess you guys pulled the short straw this time.

Clearly they aren't competent enough to figure out the effect without causing frustration to their customers and possibly loosing out on sales due to them.....a rather odd way of identifying the impact of a campaign IMO

Hope you get Christmas sorted out, preferably from another store altogether

There will be another £5/£10 gift card promotion before Christmas - just wait for that one when they know what the results of their experiment is. If Mack is correct then this will just be a one off.
