cover letter wording help.

I'm writing a cover letter for a receptionists job at a doctors surgery. I know why I want the job but I can't think of how to put it down on paper 
.
Currently i'm a home carer and to be honest i'm sick of being moaned at every day and treated like a slave for the people I care for, i've actually been called someone's slave! (i've been doing the job 6 years now). I don't like the driving that's involved, especially in winter. It's also local council and many of us are going to be made redundant next year. I've been on sick leave since August, the only thing I can't do is pull a hoist with someone in it but the council won't allow me to go back if I can't do this.
I just want a job where I can travel there, stay in one place for the day and get on with my job while still meeting people and being in some sort of health care setting.
Any help is appreciated.
