Nemo Finance

My wife and I are about to sign up for a loan with Nemo Finance but I have just read some very bad reviews about them. Has anyone had a loan from Nemo or can anyone give a positive review about them please ?

Thank you

  • Not one positive review when I've been looking. Seem to be a company who prey on people in money troubles and get them to remortgage their home at ridiculous interest rates. Is this your situation?

  • Not remortgaging just taking out a loan to repay credit card debts.

Thank you for your reply - much appreciated.
  • Hi, just noticed your question and had to answer. If you can avoid Nemo then do. My partner took out a loan with them when he was in financial hardship. They missold him PPI and then when he tried to use it because he became unemployed, they told him he wasnt unemployed for long enough. They definitely prey on people with money problems and we are still trying to deal with the after effects of that now.

    If www.reviewcentre.com/reviews111585.html doesn't put you off I don't know what will. :)

Whilst in no way trying to defend Nemo, the first page of that reviewcentre link does raise an eyebrow.

There is a distinct trend on there of

"We didn't give a monkeys what the paperwork said, we just wanted the money, now we know what we signed up to....THEY RIPPED US OFF"

As for Ratkin above - Is this a case of ignoring all the bad reviews until you find a good one you like, then going through with it??

The opening post suggests ratkin has found a multitude of warnings but he is still determined to go through with it.

It is all ratkins' fault companies like Nemo are flourishing.
  • Is the interest rate FIXED or VARIABLE? If its the latter I would steer well clear, as the interest will keep going UP UP UP UP and away.....

    You have been warned!

  • I DO NOT HAVE WORDS TO SAY ABOUT NEMO . MISLEADING . DAYLIGHT ROBBERS .CONNED BANK IN LAW

JUST THROW THEY PAPER WORK IN THE BIN

THEY ARE RIPPED OFF (after discount period of fixed term) 13%

    THEY ARE JUST AWFUL

I WOUND N'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO NEMO

Whatever your post means -- Blame Ratkins65 - If it wasn't for him, they would have sank like a clownfish with a dodgy fin.

Nemo Finance are legends, I would visit them if I needed a fish based loan.
