Pink stain on white jacket. Help !

My daughter went out last night and someone dropped a drink over her new white linen blend jacket. She tried sponging it off but now the stain has dried in. Its a deep pink stain and she thinks it may have been a cocktail of some sort. Can anyone suggest anything before I do something to make it worse
Thanks

Thanks

My husband got red wine on the stone-coloured jacket of a linen blend suit.
I took it to a small local dry-cleaner, who said he wasn't hopeful, but if we would leave it with him he would treat the stain once a day until he was satisfied, but he wasn't hopeful. Apparently the only thing on our side was that I hadn't attempted to sponge it.
It worked, after 10 days! It's not a cheap solution (although I was charged just the basic price). I guess it depends on how much the jacket is worth. Is it dry clean only?
I think as long as you stick to cold water, you're unlikely to do irretrievable damage. Very dilute Stardrops? Ditto ACE laundry stain remover?0 -
Thanks wendym. No its not an expensive jacket so probably not worth going down the drycleaning route. Am going to try stardrops and cold water. If it doesn't work I'll suggest she dyes it pink ! :rotfl:0
