Well, its been a couple of days since i have written an entry, Nothing majourly exciting going on at the minute! I have work today though
I had mon/tues off and wasnt feeling 100% so didnt do much!
I went food shopping yesterday and spent £51 - although I forgot the coffee/milk and handcream!! so will have to grab a bit more.
I enjoyed having the time to walk around and check the 'deals' to see if they were actually worth it! sometimes bigger pack items just dont work out any cheaper! I bought 3 boxes of 80 tea bags and saved around 80p i think it was compared to buying a big box of the same amount, also the yoghurts were cheaper to buy individually as they had an offer on than in the multipacks.
No major savings! the dog food alone cost me £20! but that will cover us until next payday.
I have now joined the make £10 a day in dec challenge, hopefully this will shift my butt into gear with ebay! keep saying i will do it and putting it off, to tell the truth we dont have that much we can sell but its worth a go!
I won £10 online scratchcards with lotto so that will make £15 transferred back to my acc which i will pay off cc when it arrives. I will aim to pay any of dec extra (after saving for jan bills ) onto cc. I am still waiting for this credit card to come through that they said I was accepted for and we are also still waiting for my new chefs jacket I won on ebay ( for an mse sum of 50p + P&P)
I have gone wrong somewhere along the lines with working out what work I had booked in Nov to pay off dec bills and will need more of dec money than I hoped to pay them, I believe however that mom is giving us cash for xmas so I will have to use my xmas money instead, I did want to save it for the sales and buy some items for next year but - the bills must be paid!
Added another £7ish to my sealed pot from the food shop, decided if i wanted to do the challenge I would need to take the cash out to do the shopping and then the change can go in the tin.
Right, enough boring stuff from me, I have to get ready for work, Just hoping they managed to clear some of the snow from the long drive of the safari park or that will be fun!!

Well, not written on here for a while as been busy busy busy!! Lots f hours at work at the minute so cant complain as I think it will go quiet in january. been quite frugalk still, lol, having dinner cooked for me at work by experienced chefs has been very nice! Had an extra 8hrs work last week as only rota'd for 40 and did 48. this week have an extra day @7hrs booked and will prob be working late thurs/fri/sat eve. so possibly looking at 58hrs for the week (fingers crossed!)
On the homefront i still havent sorted out the ebay items so need to get that going, I have added another £9 to my sealed pot challenge though x xMake £10 a day Feb £ /£2800 -

Thanks for that clippy_girl I will have a play with it when I get a minute or two!
Hi Kdenty, Yes very busy at the monment as its christmas, I think it is going to be the 28th dec before i get a day off now but need to stockpile the cash from it as i am thinking agency work will be very quiet in january
Well, just popping on this morning before work, had a 11 hr shift yesterday and a 13hr one today! possibly a 13 hr again tomorrow  strange but i kind of love it lol, I love being busy and knowing i am doing a good job ( I hope!!) I also like the security of knowing there is enough coming in over the next 3 weeks to cover januarys bill!!
I am a bit gutted today, I got a 0% cc and transferred some balances around to try and cut back on some of the interest I am paying, I worked out next was the worst folloed by mint, so i have paid all but £80 off next as i ordered hubby some bits a few weeks ago and its not showing on the statement so wont let me pay it! but that will be paid off after the 21st. However, after updating my signature from all the payments gone out this month it only comes down by £274! so i am paying over £500 in interest?? surely thats not rightbut its £274 paid off!
I will now concentrate on the mint card and TRY and overpay on that one!.
Did have a bit of good news as the guy I am working for has said he would like me to return in the future so hopefully some regular work there :T
Oh and not very MSE friendly - I left my phone at work last night  really hoping its still there today!!
Anyway - I better go get ready,

Feet are hurting but hopefully it will all be worth it to get jan's bills sorted, I have paid off extra bills already too which is money that would normally have been put aside for jan so hope i havent sht myself in the foot! put some change in the pot today after buying bacon for work to make sarnies for everyone as they have cooked for me all week.
Anyway, time for some sleep, back to work for 9am, only a 7hr shift tomeorrow though!
