Freezing sausage slice bar?

Any advice please on how i would freeze sausage slice bars?

Since finding this thread when i make things now i make extra and like to freeze for another time. So ive made sausage slice bars (very yum) for tea and have 2 more bars which i would like to freeze. Do i just stick them in freezer bags and freeze and what about thawing out? If i want to eat cold would i just let it thaw out fully then slice and eat? WHat if i want it hot, do i put it in the oven from frozen or thawed and what temp and for how long?

In case youre not sure these each measure about 7 inches long by about 3-4 inches wide (would have been 14 inches long but had to cut in half). They have sausage meat, cheese, egg, onion, tom puree and breadcrumbs in. They are in puff pastry.

Sounds almost like a giant sausage roll :)

Personally, I would flash freeze them first: put them in the freezer with no covering until firm, then pack in a freezer bag.
To thaw, remove from the freezer bag and leave to thaw at room temp for 4 - 6hrs.

If i want to eat cold would i just let it thaw out fully then slice and eat?
As it is already cooked, then yes :)

WHat if i want it hot, do i put it in the oven from frozen or thawed and what temp and for how long?
This is guess work based on similar sounding recipes and bearing in mind that it is already cooked: I would thaw, then cook Gas 5/190C/375F for about 20 - 30 minutes, checking it is cooked through.

    HTH :)
