My husband brought me the Braun Professional ceramin straightners from Boots. Normal price £49.99 now half price at £24.99.
Mid-sized 'floating' ceramic plates for More efficient, even hair straightening
13 variable temperature settings that adjust to hair thickness
Fast heat-up and professional styling temperatures
Patented floating plates for ultimate even straightening
Cool touch for easy handling
On/off LED with control light
Tangle free 2m swivel cord
Thought Id best invest in some decent ones after paying mega bucks for a decent hair cut.0 -

I hadnt used them so didnt want to comment,
Ive used them for the first time today, and im really impressed, i have really thick naturally curly hair, and they sailed through it a treat, no frizz and dead straight, its the least ive ever paid for a pair, so was a bit hesitant and could give them to my daughter if i wasnt impressed LOL
But sorry im keeping em, i can heartily recommend themNobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission

i know this is off-topic slightly, but after using cheapish straightners for a couple of years i've decided to treat myself to some GHDs - does anyone know where is the cheapest place to get them? i'm sure there was a thread on the site somewhere about it but i can't find it!
