What is suggested as an alternative Christmas stocking?

I think it is a decorated Wellington Boot.Any other views?

  • How about, "a pair of old white jeans or trousers", from the text? As they ask for, "What is suggested as an alternative Christmas stocking?" and not an alternative 'to' a christmas stocking - if you see what I mean?

    I'm going with the boots as the picture shows decorated boots being used to hold gifts!
  • i kmnow its a bit late but the answer is deff weeownes answer in the op, the jeans suggested in post two are used to decorate the boot and not instead of a stocking, which you see if you read the whole text :)
