Hello,
Just a bit of a warning about the perils of buying online. I recently searched with great difficulty for some special soap called Tutti-Frutti made by the Spanish company Lixone S.L. and posted a 'wanted' notice online ( cannot remeber the website now), but the point is - I received an email from Lixone@Lixone.com guiding me by link to the Lixone website.
All well and good - the helpful email said I could place an order throught he email if I had difficulrty ordering through the website.
All well and good...
I filled in some details, but it would not let me fill in the postcode. I contacted Lixone@Lixone again, and they were helpful. They wanted my name, address, tax ID number, and PASSPORT number by UNSECURE email!!!
When I complained - they said they could not ship the order without some form of 'proof;' that I was real person ( what? for wanting to buy 10 bars of soap!!). They sent me a PDF file showing a proforma invoice for the amount. No invoice reference number on it...
Just to warn you all that if you've been to Spain over the years and enjoyed using the multi-coloured Macedonia Soap glyerene soap made by companies such as Susana, Lida, Krisbel....which seems no longer avaiable -THINK TWIVCE before placing an order through Lixone S.L!!!
It may be genuine....but I have a feeling their is something wrong...
