Not sure if anyone can advise or if I even know what im asking. My partner is going bankrupt on Tuesday and im worried that is isnt as clear cut as it needs to be.He has moved out of his property and is currently living with me, he received a letter giving him a court date of the 5th jan for reposession of his property. Does he need to go to court? Does he have to fill some forms in for that or will it just go on his bankruptcy? And what happens to the secured loans on the property? Also he currently has an attachment of earnings for unpaid council tax will this still be on when he goes bankrupt, how can we do an SOA when we dont know if he still has to pay it or not.Yorkshire water have also just taken him to court for another attachment of earnings but not sure if this has gone through, can you have more than one at once?.For the last few years he has just put his head in the sand hoping it would all go away and its got worse and worse. Also he has 4 kids with his ex and has to pay alot in child maintenance can this be added into the SOA?Going bankrupt on tuesday is a bit rushed but it was the first appointment we could get and were just terrified that if we dont do it now someone will start nocking on my door for money.

Just to explain a few things, the car is in my name and he uses it for work. The 800 is what I contribute to the bills not what I earn, do I have to put what I earn as I have some debts myself that I pay for that has nothing to do with him.0
