It was nothing to do with ED fermi. I'm definitely approaching AD in the new year. This is what the letter said.
Sorry. Yes, I know yours wasn't.
I was referring plumber2009's, and pointing out that as theirs was for ED it is (or used to be at least) treated a bit differently.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

It seems the way to clarify, and it will be interesting to read the wording of plumber2009's covering letter, which they received, because as i take what the IS are saying at the moment, is that EVERYONE will receive the letter, i received, but obviously, i did'nt ask about existing IPA's. I'm going to go back when they reopen, so maybe i'll ask then.
Barring telling them i wanted the information to post on here, it already looked like i was rather ' too interested ' , with my questions.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

I don't think it's safe to infer general policy from a letter received by any one particular person at the moment (if ever). Offices will be playing catchup with changes, trying to work out how they should be implemented, may be still using old standard letters in some cases etc....Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Well. I'm going to physically take my forms into the office next week, because they are, it has to be said, very helpful, and reasonably non judgemental.
If anyone has any specific questions/ wording they would like asked to the IS, then please post a list on here, if you feel it will be of any help/assistance.
I'm off to work now, as some work came in at very short notice, the other evening. Back very much laters. Have a good day, all.

Like yourself I don't have an IPA at the moment and don't relish getting one, but you have to make sure you do things within the rules.
this course of action applies in a variety of circumstances....and are not confined to the period of BR..or to BR's as a group.
Whilst not from personal experience, I'm sure contributors can think of a variety of situations where an individual is subject to mandatory payments, based on earnings.
The upside of all this is, the financial situation could allow a BR to gain experience in the science of strict budgeting, thus becoming less psychologically reliant on the presence of the credit system?
Not a punishment in itself.....just a bit like 'cold turkey?'No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -

With these new changes I am a little confused.
Does anyone know what the disposable monthly allowance is after esential outgoings?
All i can find is a refrence to a £20 surplus, Is this monthly or weekly?0 -

I have had the forms for early discharge and filled them in. I am worried about it as when I went br in aug the surplus was £90. A couple of expences have gone up a little ie petrol and the surplus I am left with now is £12, but im worried they may not allow things like pet insurance which I put down in the first place and was not questioned then.
I sent the forms back last week and now will just have to see if I hear anything back.0 -
Hello i also want to know the different methods how to save the money....or money saving tips..0
