On the bottom of the Amazon page there are reviews written by people who have bought the player. How old is your niece? You can get plenty of very cheap mp3 players nowadays

I would say don't get it. It looks complicated to me in that the song names don't show up on a screen, you have to shake it to go from song to song. Very strange! I would recommend giving her the money or getting her a voucher myself. I'm sure there's better out there you can get for the money.
