Husband and I are debating about the guitar. Want to get it for our daughter but can't decide what is best to learn on - acoustic or electric???
Acoustic, everytime.
Once you master acoustic then you play electric like a legend!
Master electric and you still sound like a ham fisted retard on acousticSealed pot challange no: 3390 -
Been in same position with son and it is better if they choose as if they are the ones learning they have to actually want to do it. I would take her to a music shop and get her to try out a few guitars and see what she likes otherwise even a bargin could be a waste of money.
personally i prefer my acoustic but i know people who dont. It's an ok deal but you can get some half decent guitars for not loads to start on and then if they take to it you can always buy them a better one as a later birthday or xmas gift. They make good milestone one and i love my acoustic i got for my 18th0 -
