I had this EXACT same problem. Called customer services and after 30 minutes of terms and condition arguments with this man he hung up on me.

ah, that might explain why amazon didn't drop the price much. thx for pointing that out. hope it doesn't mislead anyone.

No ones won them, you have merely placed them in your basket, if you checked out straight away then you would of got them. It isn't Amazons thought if people bought them at the full price after the deal and they went out of stock.

Yes I got this message too, I thought once it was in your basket you had until the end of the day to pay for it.

No, I moved the phillips lights over to save it for later when I wanted to pay for the chocs immediately (I wasn't 100% on the blue, bought them now!). Once I finished purchasing the choccies I was able to place the lights back in the basket with discount intact no problem.

It's stock levels not basket processing.
