Not totally true. I have had a printer removed from basket after just under 45 minutes as I was umming and arring about it. However I still have a few items in Save For Later that I will check out all together.

On one page for the bath set it says waiting in Queue as i clicked immediately.

6 minutes later i could add it to the basket freely as it said 63% claimed....so i guess its not based on fastest finger 1st?

i spotted that posted earlier ... still have the DAB radio from this morning in my basket at the promotional price (for my sister) .. just tried check out and it is still available on promotion ... maybe it is just certain items they are removing .. not sure x

I think this is to do with the promotional discount being available to 2359 but if the item is out of stock then you can't buy. If you go to product page it is out of stock

When did it change to check out within 15 minutes? I know that was the rule on the american amazon.

I just added the bath bomb set at £6 something there from 10minutes ago part of a christmas present sorted

I have a basket with Chocolates from 8am and the Estee Lauder perfume and 2 bath bomb sets and all I've done is clicked "save for later" and they are all still in my saved area and its allowing me to transfer them back to my basket and check them out...
I also used this method yesterday and seems fine??
