    An ordinary DVD player will not play blu rays as its a completely different format

    Right I've got confused at some point then re blu ray & DVD. I thought you could play either on either machine. Can you play DVDs on blu ray machines? Sorry to thread hijack, just trying to broaden my knowledge!

    Not to my knowledge...

    (very confusing as Disney (amongst others) sell Blu-Ray and DVD combined gift sets etc)

    Yes you can play dvds on a blu ray player.

    got the candles , i managed to buy something , and as a bonus there was a £5 voucher in my account , and the candles were the only things that caught my eye ,
