Trouble is of course that we don't know if we want something until we see the price . Also some of the things are not actually stated beforehand what they are, so many of us will click and win on the basis it might be cheaper enough to buy.

I suppose people don't know if they want it until they know what the price will be ... I wish amazon would put the price on display beforehand.

  • is the dictionary cheap @ 25 x
  • I wish Amazon would put the price on beforehand too. I admit to clicking on items I want when I don't know the price, but if I wait to see the price it is too late and would get nothing!!!

I suspect if they did many of us wouldn't bother trying for it. If the things didn't sell out quite so quickly they would lose the 'panic' buying that seems to be going on.

I'm trying for things just on the basis it 'might' be cheap enough to tempt me, if I'd seen the power ball thingy price before I won it I would have gone shopping first thing this morning instead of sitting here.

Does anyone know the max amount of items you can have in your basket?
Don't want to have won everything today then miss the £60 xbox 360 because my basket is full!

I don't think there is a limit as to how many items you can have in your basket.

However, my understanding of these deals are that if you leave items in your basket with the intention of paying / checking-out later on then the offer price may not still be on, as Amazon have a limited number of items at the "Black Friday" sale price and once they are all gone the price goes back up.

I know someone who managed to get an item in their basket yesterday (monday) and left it there hoping to get something else later in the day and pay for them all together, but went she went back to checkout the offer price was no longer valid and if she wanted it had to pay full price.
    :)
  • Is there anyone here who hasn't won anything at all today/yesterday ?
  • It would certainly help to know the prices before hand, the things would still sell, but only to those who know they want it!

with the wii i clicked and it said i had claimed it but i clicked on basket and it didnt do anything, clicked the claimed bit again and again didnt do anything but just as i clicked the reload button as thought it had jammed i realised it was there in my basket, couldnt believe i missed out on it because my eyes didnt see the 1 in the basket! was soo cross with myself last night!

Surprised at this as yesterday I 'won' the lego and I refreshed pages loads of times - it stayed in basket.

Pretty decent chance of another wii in the week I would guess - just depends if you are happy to stay on you computer ALL week to find out when :-(
