Am i doing something wrong?? I clicked when it was £1 but went to the page where it was £8 something, i never even saw it for £1!

Yes I thought it said £8 odd but if you would have looked to the right hand side it said the deduction was £7 and total to pay £1.. but yeah, I nearly didn't click to buy because I thought it hadn't reduced it.
  • Did anyone try having it in their basket before 9am, wondering if price changed auto and would stand more of a chance as in your basket????

I already had it in, refreshed the page dead on 9 but still came up full price.
  • I reckon there will a percentage of people who will click the sale price and go through and buy then to realise they were charged full price. Only winners in this are Amazon!!!

No I clicked on both from the lightning deals page, It said waiting in queue so I wasn't sure if I'd got them at first. I went straight through to checkout and there they were :D

I had to remember to change to supersaver delivery and then checked out immediately using my giftcard balance.

Same here - hope i don't end up sitting here for an hour!
A home is not a home ..... without a dog
  • If the Susan Boyle cd's sell out in seconds with virtually no chance of getting one then zero chance on the good stuff!

I'm starting to think its a waste of time waiting for the other things I want, to go on sale.

agree. it's no more than a xmas season gimmick to get you onto the site and hopefully do your shopping there.
used this as a dummy run cos i want a blu ray player. don't think i'll bother trying. just to much like pot luck
