Christmas Shopping List

May seem silly but to make life easier for busy partners at Christmas myself and GF have decided to make a list of 3 presents for Christmas and one surprise gift not exceeding £50, are we being silly?
So far on my list is Tom Fords White Patchouli a nice silk tie from duchamp and a book. What do you guys think?

I think it's a great idea - but then I do something similar so I may be biased
I give OH a list every year - including pictures/cost/item numbers and details of any 3for2 or B1G1F offers available. I make the list 3 times longer than he has money to spend IYSWIM so that way, although I know I'm getting something I want/need, I don't know exactly what it will be.
It may sound a bit naff/demanding to others but my OH really does prefer it - he breaks into a sweat at the mere thought of having to go shopping in town on his own (bless) and knowing he has a list and can pre-choose what he is looking for and then just walk into a shop, find an assistant and say "help me, I want to buy this" makes his life (and mine by default) so much easier.
We've done this for the past five years and it works for us - he's happy and less stressed (and less broke because he used to spend hideous amounts of money on random things ) and I'm happy because he is less stressed and I get nice things :rotfl:
Glad you added the 'suprise' gift to the list though - even if you are happy to know what you are getting in advance a suprise is always fun.0 -
