Glad you feel more positive today starry-eyed surprise, I think that helps tremendously.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but try to think of the future and your full recoery more than anything else! I can relate to your comment about being one of those people that just get on with things but good to see you are looking at those sources of help that are out there - including MSE of course
Hope your search is fruitful this week. Do come back and post with an update. I'll be thinking of you.Leason learnt :beer:0 -
Thanks Lynzpower. Hope I do recover!! At the moment I need to know from more tests just where I am up to. Have had quite a trial getting here already as doctors have missed things and I was even told in the summer that my symptoms were just 'anxiety'. I'm not looking ahead until I ge more info but I am worried. Just wish I'd been able to get in the system a lot sooner. You - only you- will have stars that can laugh :rotfl:

Hi I have had cancer twice in the past 18 months and you can get benefits, ring your local benefits office, if they can't help the hospital will give you info, there are always posters up about getting help with a number I just can't remember the number off hand but there is very specific help you can get if you have cancer.
all the best0 -
I'm sorry to hear about your illness.
I'm wishing you a speedy recovery-my thoughts are with you and your family.
