Can someone please explain to me how the 3 for 2 works. According to the site you get every 3rd item free. I put 3 items in my basket obv the more expensive one in 3rd but it knocks off the price for the cheapest. I have tried putting them in in all different orders and still only get the cheapest one free. Why would they state that they don't give the cheapest one free but the 3rd item if they are just going to give the cheapest one free . How has everyone else got on with this? If there is a special way of doing this please let me know0

There are some electrical grooming products with 50% off, including a Phillips shaver which gets good reviews on amazon.. at an almost £50 saving and then the extra 15% code that takes the discount from the original price, you could get an excellent present for the man in your life :j

I logged into my account and there was a kidswear 10% discount coming off the childrens musical instruments. No idea what it was because it's banked from ages ago!

What Marks is trying to say, is that unlike some other retailers, they knock the value off of every third item.
For example, I am buying 6 items. I put them in price order.
£12, £12, £9, £8, £7, £5
Most shops (excluding boots) would give you the two cheapest things out of all of your items free. SO that would be the last two, which is the £7 and £5 items
Total Discount = £12
M&S However, give you every third item free. Which would be the £9 and the £5
Total DIscount = £14
SO instead of having to do your orders in 3's to get the best offer, or split your items at the checkout into 3's.. they will do it for you.:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -

So wouldn't you be better off putting the two £12 items in as every third item so that you would get £24 off??0 -

I suppose I should have said 'THEY' put them in price order.
Trust me.. if I could get the £12's in first I would
Oh.. and that order was completely hypothetical.. AS IF I would buy two £12 things with a £9 thing.. it just isn't right not to get another £12 thing for free :rotfl::xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0
