Resigning from job and then claiming JSA - how long do sanctions apply and from when?

    I will try to get him to find out if any of the other temps he worked with are still there. They did offer him work directly with them rather than through the agency, but it was still only temping work.

    this isn't quite true...........he may get some money to start with and then after they have investigated they may stop his money - this happened to a relative of mine (they got about 12 weeks of money)

    Okay, but just to clarify the employer would be The agency and not the client who he worked for. To reiterate I would get the agency to put something in writing to state job was unsuitable.He obviously had his reasons for leaving the role. To reiterate again as he was a temp, the role could have ended at any given time by the client.
