depends on what you want. I love my llytods account cause i have to go and get the cash out so makes me think about what i need and why i need it. People think im mad paying in cash, but it is so much better for us.The down fall is that if i get caught in a emergency im stuck.
So i opened the co-op account that has a small amount of money in for emergencys or if i need to purchase stuff over the net.
just my view

I got an alliance and leicester electron card with a disgraceful credit report, but beware if you ever do go overdrawn in this bank (I also got a cheque book but no chq guarantee card) their charges are extortionate!:mad:official dfw nerd club member no 214

I would suggest that you try two or three, just in case you are rejected by one of them. Whilst most will give accounts to people with poor credit ratings, they usually need to do a credit search, to confirm that you are who you say you are, i.e. on electoral roll. This search MAY result in a refusal by one or more banks.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
