Hi all,
I have been going through all the threads here about hampers!
My partner & I have decided last min, To change our plans & make hampers for all the adults in our family this year to reduce cost's.
So i need to make
2 hampers for my mum & OH mum
1 for a aunt
1 for grandad
2 for my dad & OH dad
& 1 emergency one, For my friend who has just become a mum, for the first time on fri - Wasn't due for another month, However baby didn't want to wait!
But, I cant seem to find the right hampers. Any advice will be noted!
Also, Does anyone put print off vouchers in their hampers or does this make them look to cheap?
thanks all,

I'm not sure if you mean, you don't know what type of baskets to get or what to put in them?
Home and Bargains do baskets at the moment if you live in the North.
Some ideas for hampers
Save all your jars and fill them with chutney (Delia does a good value one), mincemeat (Delia again!) and sweet chilli jam (Nigella's) they're all good value to make and will be well recieved with a nice label.
For my family, I'm doing one full of things we can all do together, i.e. boardgame, cards, DVD,
For your friend, the new mum, a "homemade" voucher for a night of babysitting when she's ready to get out of the house maybe?
Hope this helps!0 -
We kinda have a idea of what we are going to put in them...We're hoping to go for the personal touch which is easy enough to buy for, But what i really need to know is where i can buy the baskets.
I have looked on ebay, in my local shops, But they seem to be really expensive just for one!
PS- I'm not far from Bristol.
Thanks bear! xxFuture goals:

If you're after baskets I believe IKEA would sell baskets if you've not looked there already? I think there's an IKEA near there isnt there?0

I have bought a box from B&M for only £1.99. It has press studs on the sides to keep it together, it can be reused or folded down flat when not needed. There were plenty of colours and patterns too, owls, momji dolls, apples, pink, green, blue, orange etc. I am doing one for my sister this year with colourful tissue paper inside too.:)0
