Yes, thank you, today is going rather well. Only annoyance today is that the young man who sits next to me has got a deeply horrible takeaway breakfast and is scarfing it at his desk at the moment. Urgh. I think i need to step away for a bit.

    Hi,

I don't post very often but I read and keep up with everything every day but I nearly laughed out loud when I read this. Not to be nasty or anything but because I know exactly how you feel.

I share a really small office with my Manager and he sometimes brings in beans for work and he has actually sat down and bragged that 'I am eating my beans, cold and out of the tin!' Not a good example to lead from I reckon.

    Afternoon ladies and gents :D

Nothing to report, had mindee all moring so nothing been done apart from lots of playing and playgroup. Got to clean bathroom today and put the vac round without fail. Had yet another early start this morning - 5am courtesy of DD :( So will try and get job done before collapsing on the sofa with a hot chocolate. Ended up eating for England yesterday due to being tired so I can't do that again otherwise any weightloss will soon be diminished!!!

Fantasia - You'll be fine with your homecheck, we had to have one for the cat (OK not the same size animal I know but still :)) and it was fine, actually she said to me it was to check really we were who we said we were and where we lived. Anyway I know you'll be fine, I can imagine re-homing a dog the size of a Dane means that sometimes new homes aren't as easy to come by so I doubt they'll be turning potential new owners down. Couldn't see the pic though for some reason. Can you copy and paste it from FB into a post?

Sending you all lots of positive vibes, have great afternoons one and all :D

Will do Bitsy - I keep pinching myself lol it isnt official yet though,
but fingers crossed. With a Dane, its got to do with the right height fencing and the knowledge to care for the breed, which I have. *Nips off to FB

Congratulations on your good news Cheery.:T
Commiserations on cowbag colleagues & work problems Crickett.:(

I've been missing from the board for a couple of days as I've been busy. Lunchtimes are normally a good time for me to catch up but on Wednesday I went to a free lunchtime lecture on the history of Leeds (improve the mind) and yesterday I went swimming (improve the body).

As I pledged in my challenge, I have been exercising about 4 times a week either gym or Shred or Swimming and I think it is working. I can definitely climb the stairs more easily, I got to the 4th floor at work before I felt out of breath. Also a couple of colleagues asked me if I'd lost more weight and as I'm still losing the Christmas weight (nearly there, only 1/2 lb to go) I had to say no, but I think they are noting my shape toning up. Woo!

<shudders> erugh I loathe baked beans (freak aren't I? or so my H tells me ;)) but that's bad enough when they've been heated. Cold and out of the tin is just sooooooooooo much worse :eek:

Had to laugh when you said you don't like baked beans given your user name!

I hate them too. We were force fed them twice a week at primary school and I have not eaten any in 45 years as a result.

But I made a cassoulet a few weeks ago with home cooked haricot beans and the remains of the Christmas goose and it was actually quite nice. I might try it again - in about another year!
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

I have'nt been posting much of any relevance lately (except about dogs). Just a lot of stuff i find when I'm reading blah blah yada yada.
Its stuff that I think may relate to the Matrix and what people are trying to achieve and quotes that I find inspirational.

I have one last thing and then I'll stop boring you all and try and be a little more original.

Take a Leap and you just might Learn how to Fly
    Learning to Fly—Flying Lessons
Lesson One: If you are confused what your Leap would be ask yourself “What is one thing that my Spirit has been quietly telling me to do for years---that I have been ignoring?” It could be something small—like “My Spirit has been telling me to exercise regularly for years”. Take action on this information because there is a wisdom in your Spirit---it knows what step needs to happen first—and this step will lead to the next---and then to the next. Before you know it these smaller steps will build a momentum that will lead you to even bigger leaps.
Lesson Two: Know that you will be uncomfortable as you take your Leaps and learn to Fly. Use this statement to help yourself “I am willing to be uncomfortable to make the changes I need to make.” The more you acknowledge that uncomfortableness is just part of the process—not a signal that you need to stop—you will be able to continue to move forward. The more you do this the more comfortable you will get with the uncomfortableness.
Lesson Three: Keep Your Eye on the Prize. As you take your Leap there will be things that may appear that seem like obstacles in your path. Your job is to keep focused on where you are going and NOT to get sidetracked into over focusing on these obstacles. When I work with clients and this happens—the more they stay on track with their vision of where they are going—the more easily these apparent obstacles just fall away.
Lesson Four: As You Leap You will begin to Adjust to a Higher, Lighter Vibration and your Body will shed dense energy so you Can Move Higher. This can manifest in getting physically sick for a brief time as your body adjusts and releases the dense energy you have been carrying. After you get better you will feel better than you did before you got sick---you will have upleveled. You can also release this denser energy through feeling emotions of sadness, fear and anxiety. Again these emotions will quickly move through and you will feel lighter and more free after they pass through. Remember the lighter you are---the easier it is to fly!
Lesson Five: You will feel VERY supported as you take action and Leap. Once you make the decision and leap you will feel amazing levels of support come to you from the Universe. You will feel support from other people, circumstances will come together to support you in miraculous ways, doors will fly open, signals come that let you know you are on track. You will meet people who are your “flying partners”—people on your path that are uniquely supporting you by giving you enthusiastic encouragement and also practical support and information.
Lesson Six: As you Leap and Begin to Fly you will Feel a Special Joy. You are meant to be flying—soaring in your life. There is a special joy that is natural to our Spirits when we align with what we are meant to be doing in our life. It is a joyful, fulfilling feeling that we are on track in our life—exactly where we are meant to be. It is what everyone is longing for---and for good reason---this is the feeling that you are meant to be feeling each and every day.
So listen to the subtle—or not so subtle signals that you are meant to take a leap in your life. Listen and leap---trusting that as you jump you will feel a sweet support and a cheering surrounding you --lifting you to fly even higher into the magnificent life that is meant especially for you!
    I loved this
  • Can I just poke my head in with a little news??? Just received my waited-for email....

    "Dear Cheery,

The changes you've made are excellent - and you've done much more than you
needed to you. I've searched for things to criticise, but I really can't find
anything. I'll be happy to sign this off as it is. Well done. Very
    impressive.
