Wedding night nightie / sleepware

I depressed myself thoroughly yesterday looking in Debenhams at their bridal nighties, as none of them looked any good on me. Trouble I have is that I'm small up top and they all just hung off me and emphasised this.

Has anyone come across anything that is nice (not tarty) in their quests?

  • Managed to pick up a pink Reger by Janet Reger nightie in my Debenhams a few weeks ago (when the free fiver offer was on), it's not typical bridal but very cute.

I didn't wear anything! I was glad to be free of clothing after being trussed up in my dress all day.

Same here. I didn't want anything on. The underwear you have on under your dress should be enough for your husband to not want to see you in anything else lol.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:;)

LEJC there is a filthy joke in there somewhere about the brides ring being the only thing the groom wears too. But i'm not going to make it obviously...

Thank you guys - I'm a size 10-12, and only a 34B bra size, but recently I've put on a bit of weight on my tummy, so the only thing that it looked marginally ok in was a babydoll, as it covered that part up. Obviously I intend to try to lose my tummy again, but I think that white and ivory seemed to emphasised any imperfections too. I wouldn't mind something pink or untraditional colours. I have seen a pink silk teddy on La Senza's website that I intend to try on when I go down to Southampton if they have it, but don't really know what else to look at. Ideally, a fitted bra top to something would work better, as I'm always wearing padded bras. I've got a lovely underwear set to wear under my dress, but wanted something a bit luxurious to wear to sleep in and to sit in when we have our room service breakfast (obviously with a robe on top). We are going to be in Jamaica, so don't want anything that is going to be too hot either (all of the satin things I tried on in the hot, sticky fitting rooms, were uncomfortable as they didn't breathe). Don't know about budget yet, as I'm still looking at options, but definitely under £100. Oh, and my idea of tarty would be a cheap quality red number from Ann Summers - it can still be short, but I'm not so keen on the see-through.

Thanks for all of your help everyone.
