Evenin' all. FB has gone back now - no couponing this weekend apart from 75p off Sunday paper that next door neighbour gave me and 2 free hot chocolates / coffee at local garden centre from the club we joined

I have been very busy lately decorating and not had much time to post or catch up with this forum. A belated thank you for your birthday wishes Dr. Who-Who! One thing I noticed here in Portugal – I bought a pack of butter in the supermarket which had a coupon on it and when I got to the checkout the SA whipped the coupon off the butter and rang it through her till thus making the item cheaper then and there! Can you see staff at Mr. T’s doing that without being asked!

Hi All,

Used the last of the M&S vouchers at Mr. T's today (thanks again gill

). Had used them on other weeks with no problem but this CO wasn't sure. She waved the voucher at the checkout supervisor, who glanced at it from 5ft away and said "no we don't accept those" .

To cut a short story even shorter. I pointed out where the competitor voucher button was on the till and there was M&S (thanks Mad - I think it was you

and if not thanks whoever it was). Voucher accepted and supervisor thanked me for pointing it out. Result

Thanks again Gill, I'm sure lots of us on here owe yer big time stylee......A small return will be on it's way in the next day or two

(Ran out of ink Friday night, well technically my 'spare' cartridge was two years out of date:o and despite all my efforts the ink in it was beyond saving, must learn to rotate spares better

:o)

I think this is the second year M&S have done these for the new year so hopefully same time next year

grab a big wad and scarper :cool: (Assuming MrT is still taking CS's :eek::eek::eek:)
