Just used the Charles Worthington voucher in Mr Ts on one of the travel size bottles. Didn't scan (because apparetly I had not spend enough) but luckily I found myself a dopey looking young SA who very kindly put it through manually for me :rotfl:

Also bagged myself 4 Head & Shoulders shampoos (from one of the other threads). Shelf price - £2.50 but scanning through at 32p so saved myself an absolute fortune. I'm never usually lucky enough to find these discontinued items/barcodes so today was a first :j

Still no sign of the Milkybar buttons around here...

As for eBay completely agree but last time I bought £20 worth of co-op ones for 99p

Me too - 99p from my paypal balance saved me £20

    Morning all :)

Someone mentioned that the Velvet cheques have started to arrive. I had my first one this week and on the claim form you print off, it states 2nd class postage will be refunded. Well there was no sign of it, so not really worth claiming for the £1 wins unless you are making a couple of claims in the same envelope IMO.

Recieved some wins and 32p postage on all claims. Makes the £1 win more worthwhile

Thanks, didn't bother with my first £1 but just got a second (The wheelbarrow filled with 'notes' but only won £1 :() so will send it off....Can you put multiple wins in the same envelope and as there is nothing on the form how do they know which win I am claiming? Looked at the Velvet thread and nobody seems to have asked this??

Also do I have to send all the packaging or just the barcode?
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

I had one arrive today with the additional 32p. :D Funny thing is, I thought I had only sent off one for £1 and then a couple for £5, so will have to wait and see what else turns up..

Not got time to look now, but there is a post on this thread somewhere recently, from myrtleturtle I think, about this. She said she was told you could send photocopied receipts or put more than 1 application in 1 envelope.

It says send packaging, but I cut some off as it makes the envelopes too bulky. The barcode is the important bit and as long as they can see its a promo pack, should be fine.

Found the thread but obviously didn't read it properly:whistle:

Strangely the claim form mentions nothing about sending the packaging only the till receipt which is good cos not sure that mine are 'promo packs' :o

I shall now go and read the thread with a bit more thoroughly :rotfl:

Edit: For those that are interested...

  • hello lovely coupon family! Good shop in Asda - another Huggies newborn kit, £3 but coupon for £5. Lots of Huggies swimmers for £1 and used a John Frieda £2 colour coupon against conditioner so v happy. Used the self scan till and asked the young chap manning them first if it was ok to use coupons, he just watched me scan them all across, we had a giggle at how much it took off and then he even helped me fold them up to stuff them into the slot!!

Then across to Sainsbos - no Finish £2.97 for me. Was tempted to go back to Asda to see if I could use the coupon against normal tablets as I did last year when I first saw the coupon. Anyhoo, few bits of non essential shopping but used a £6 conditional spend coupon by getting a top that won't fit to bump the total up to £30.
  • Finish back to £8.50 in my Wilkinsons, about the same in Morrisons too
