Snowing here in Sheffield too Bully, covered everything - looks like an inch or 2. Going home in less than 2 hours - probably take ages as usual when there's a few flakes. At least it's not my turn to drive :)
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

    Hi gill,

    I would definately query it.

I had this last year with a conditional spend voucher. My local store wouldn't accept my co-op conditional spend voucher and also refused my Morrisons one, saying there wasn't one nearby and it was the stores discretion. I queried it with Tesco HO and received an email listing the CS vouchers they did accept plus a response re the store saying it was managers discretion.

"ASDA, Morrisons, Sainsburys. Co-Op, Marks and Spencer, Waitrose.

Unfortunately you also recieved misinformation from the people you spoke to ......... regarding acceptance of coupons and that it was down to store discretion to accept competitors coupons. Let me assure you that this is absolutely not the case ........ "

As I said, this was last year, but at the time the store was adamant it was up to their discretion and refused to accept it - until I took my email in ;)

PS, Can I ask where you get the M&S vouchers from (as I haven't seen any) and are they still available please? :cheesy:

    Hi Folks,
Happy New Year to you all!!! Not been able to get onto the internet for ages, had no phone, fax or email, off and on for ages, bless Talk Talk and BT!!!! Still not resolved, but I am online at the moment!! Trying to 'catch up' with all your helpful posts, can anyone tell me if M&S are still giving out the coupons, managed to get quite a few last year and was able to share my good fortune, but had not realised they were doing the same again this year!!!
    Thanks one and all!!
