A lovely idea bullshot for your mum have a lovely day together. I did something similar at Christmas as an extra put together a hamper of tea, coffee, pasta, pasta sauces, biscuits, some cake, tins soup etc things I had collected over time some from tips on here and I know they were really appreciated by my parents as living on quite a basic pension. Only afterwards remembered I should have included sugar to go with the tea & coffee lol (probs as I don't drink tea or coffee and DH doesn't have sugar with his) maybe I will do better next time.

Can you do it with wonderweb/magic hem stuff? I've made cushion covers with it.......it's fine so long as you don't wash and tumble dry too much.
  • My first post...
I have just been told at my local salon, Hair Associates now have a on line magazine. I thought I would have a browse and came across a downloadable voucher for 50% off Hair Associates Shampoos and Conditioners, bottle is approx 250ml which makes it £4.95ish with my calculation. Not bad for a professional product!!! Going back tomorrow to get some for me and some for my mums christmas stocking! :D

Check you emails for one from Aunt Bessies for 50p off hearty Dumplings. It's a not so smart coupon. I've not printed it as can't stand dumplings_pale_

    £1.16 in tesco, asda & sains http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/Frozen_Ready_Meals/Aunt_Bessies_Dumplings_8_per_pack_390g.html
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

£10 OFF £50 spend at Waitrose in The Times Saturday, just read on hduk

please let it have a scanning barcode makes life so much smoother in tescos and we may get to use M & S coupon with it ;)

Just returned from my local Tesco (Wath nr Rotherham) I asked at Customer Services if they took the Waitrose conditional spend vouchers and explained that The Times was printing one on Saturday. She replied that they didn't take Waitrose and checked with the store office who concurred. I didn't argue but would like to know, from members of this forum, if it is a local decision (right or wrong) or a national one.

    Thank you

Thats rubbish, they do take the Waitrose coupon. I had mine refused last time it was in the paper and I complained to Head office who sent me a £10 giftcard and a email confirming they had spoken to the Manager at the store and yes, they do take Waitrose coupons. So if they reject it, all is not lost.

    Good luck

Not been on here for a few days, been too ill to sit at the computer really. Feeling better now and keen to get back into the swing of things.

Can't go shopping till Saturday but will be using a M&S coupon or two donated by a lovely lady on here.

Lots of thanks and ((hugs)) to you.
