just serve it up as it is, thats what i do but i do have some nice casserole dishes - i also let people serve themselves. i certainly wouldn't add anything that shouldn't be there'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

For me, this would depend on who I was cooking for. If it was for friends, serve it in a big dish and let everyone help themselves. For very good friends round for a casual meal, I would let them dish for themselves out of the pot in the kitchen! For people you are trying to impress, individual dishes with a garnish would be more appropriate, though as long as it tastes great, it doesn't really matter!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

could you serve in a bread bowl?0

My suggestion also comes from a catering background inc lardyda as I called it hotel. Also from experience of friends over for dinner who I know can eat for England but when confronted help yourself style, put a mini spoonful on so as not to appear greedy, I do the same! Like buffets, some will pile a plate high but I'm always worried about being enough for everyone, being greedy etc.One day I might be more organised...........
