Euro Car Park Charge

Hi

I have been issued a PCN for not displaying my ticket correctly. I sent a copy of the ticket to show that I had indeed paid and appealed against their decision. However, they have declined and insist I still need to pay? Whilst the ticket may have not been clear for them to read, I feel sending them a copy of payment should end any dispute they may have? If I ignore the letter, can I end up with a CCJ against me? What are my rights? I have looked at various bloggs but a lot are out of date.

Thanks to anyone who can help

Its impossible to get a ccj with euro, the reason is that they admitted on the sunday times a fortnight ago that they have never taken anyone to court ever, and they have no plans in the future of doing so.

So the thing to do is completely ignore them, and their fake demands for payment.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

vitality7 have you seen the sticky at the top of the page? Here is a link for you...

The general advice on this and other forums is to ignore speculative invoices issued
by private parking companies, I am currently ignoring Parking Eye and many others
also mention that they have successfully ignored PE & other PPC's, it is also mentioned that
you are best NOT to communicate in ANY way with a PPC, this means do not appeal to them
do not contact them and above all else DO NOT PAY THEM...

Just ignore anything they send you.

You might get more lovely invoices with varying amounts sent to you because they know they have a 'live' address.

The only time you will get a CCJ is:
1 - They take you to court
    2 - They win
3 - You refuse to pay what the judge orders you to pay

Both 1 & 2 are very unlikely, you have more odds on winning the Euromillions 2 weeks in a row with the same numbers
  • Thanks everyone! I will simply tear up their correspondence then and hope the bailiffs do not come for me!!!:j

Still consider it best to file them at the back of a drawer for a year or two. Endless fun getting them out at christmas when the rellies come round.
PS ----Bailffs won't come. See Kites post.
