Anyone know anything about golf?

Hi, I'm wanting to buy my OH a set of golfclubs for Christmas but know nothing about golf. He will only be playing occasionally so don't want to spend too much, i have about £120 max. To spend on his Christmas present.
I've seen a set in DW sports reduced from £149 to £109 and I get 10% discount. They are slazenger firesteel. Or i have seen a Dunlop set in Argos for £129 and my son gets 10% staff discount.
Would anyone know which would be best to get??

If he is a beginner why not buy him a couple of lessons then some second hand clubs and see how he gets on?0
