Geomag and Magnetix question

Hoping someone can help with this.

Are Geomag and Magnetic compatible with each other? My DS has some Magnetix and wants the panels to go with it that I can only seem to source from Geomag.

Just need to know if the bits go together or not before I start buying bits for Christmas.

Yes, they are compatible. My children had both last Christmas and they work fine together. The rods and balls are different sizes (don't know about panels) for each of them but this seems to make more interesting designs.

hope your son isnt as mislead as mine was, he was hoping to be able to build the eiffel tower ..almost £100 in and we can now get a building 6cm high !!!!totally misleading advertising !!

Lucky for us, he realises you would need a HUGE amount of them, as seen at the Science Museum shop in London.
He just wants the plastic bits so they look like walls.

Yes ish, found some varieties the stick parts are different sizes.

Careful they don't put them near your tele, my friends son has damaged hers permenantly with them.

I got some "Magnetix", but they are not compatible with Geomag, The Balls on the "Magnetix" are ibigger and the shapes from the Geomag don't fit my "Magnetix".I just noticed that there a "Magetix" and a "Magnetic", so maybe the latter is compatible with Geomage, can anyone confirm?
