Works a lot better if you write PLEASE INVESTIGATE on the reverse!

OP can your doctor not prescribe you ventolins on one script? You'd still pay £7.20 but you'd get 2 for the price of 1.
Personally I think evidence should be supplied to get the free prescription.0 -
I get free prescriptions as I have to take Thyroxine every day, so all my prescriptions are free for some reason, whatever I'm prescribed. I have a white NHS card with my name and certificate number on. It gets renewed every 5 years.
The Boots my prescriptions are sent to have noted it on their computer so when I go in to collect it or give them a prescription all I have to do is tick the box on the back that I've a prescription exemption thingy. Only occasionally have they asked for it, if for example they're particularly busy or there's someone in a bad mood serving, lol.0 -
Maybe you should all write to your MP's as over here in Northern Ireland,prescription charges were phased out last year so all medicines ect done on a prescription are now free.0

The exemption for students is outlined on the back of the prescription and reads (in scotland)
