Best way to store my wedding dress?

Good evening ladies!
Could any of you please give me some advice on how best to store my dress? It is a satin material and has a farily long train. Its just come back from the dry cleaners today, but I won't be wearing it for another 9 months! Its got a bit creased around the train and I'm not sure whether to hang it or lay it on the bed in the spare room??
Help!

I would hang it if you can, preferably somewhere high enough so the train can hang fully. And cover it in a cotton double duvet cover. It allows the air to circulate, unlike a plastic cover, but still protects it from sunlight etc.

Yup definitely hang it and cover in a cotton duvet cover. It needs to be breathable.
If it's still creased come your wedding you can steam it in the bathroom when you have a hot shower! What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
I have left mine in the dress bag but the bag is unzipped so the bottom of the dress and train is hanging out so it doesn't crease up. Then i've put the whole lot in a double duvet cover and buttoned it up around the hanger and hung it on the back of a door. Having said that I have only had to store it for 2 weeks so unless you have a spare room it might get in the way like that but you should be able to hang it in your wardrobe like that too.0

Mines is still at the store, stored nicely I hope! A guy in work put a hook coming down from the ceiling to hang his daughter's dress on. The dress had a HUGE train so it worked quite well. Probably covered with a duvet as suggested above as well.0

Thanks for your responses. I have decided to hang it in a a duvet cover from a hook on the ceiling in the spare room. Just hope it doesn't fall down! lol0
