great spot OP - I just signed up and they will send the first magazine by next Friday which is much faster than a lot of other magazine subscription offers!

I signed up for this in the summer via a different route and it is fantastic. The memory stick comes seperate although I found their customer service to be a bit poor.

I got letters saying my direct debit hadn't gone through but they had taken the money and when I cancelled the subscription (excellent paper but didn't have time to read it every week!) I got a phone call asking why I had cancelled the direct debit without contacting them. I originally cancelled it via e-mail and received 2 confirmation e-mails back.

Apart from that it is a fantastic read, a great offer as I think each copy of the economist costs £4 a week and the 12 issues gives you a chance to really get an idea about what the paper is all about.
If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!

Maybe the USB stick will be sent out separately.
Here dead we lie because we did not choose

Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,

  • Ok I'm a bit worried now... it's been over 3 weeks since I phoned up about this and they've happily taken my direct debit out but I haven't received anything?
