You would have to ask why this is happening Gas never dropped by how much it fell,

look at this, $ on the left.

Gas should not really be much more than 2004 prices, they seem to link it to oil when it suits them.

Granted this is US prices but would be good to find out on european prices just where in years we are on costs.

Your right about them linking it to the oil price. It dose seem too follow it up the it never seem it come down by the same amount.

It seem to me that the olny way to get a cheeper price is to keep moving your custom. Take the discount rate they give to new customers and so soon as it send move.

I'm with Scottish Power...this is great news.

I'm paying more for something soon. I feel richer already.

LOL - it's quite ironic really. Only this morning I received a statement from them, estimating what my usage would be for the next 12 months. The units quoted were £, so that's bound to be wrong now.
If I hadn't already binned it I would have done on this announcement :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm with Scottish Power also and staying put for the moment. Probably it will all even out after they all hiked their prices.
And I'm reasonably happy with SP's customer service and online billing thingy.
  • I just had a call from Scottish Power regarding a competition I'd entered. I've been a Scottish Power customer for the past 18 months.

I mentioned that I wasn't happy about their 9% price hike announced today, and they offered me the option of capping my electricity at the current price until end 2012. This will cost me an extra £2/month, but £24 over the year is far less than the extra £150/year it would cost me once the increase comes into effect next week.

Anyone with Scottish Power - it would be worth you ringing them to have your price capped.
