People after a size 20 jacket may not want size 3 shoes or kids clothes as an example, as these items are normally only 1 in stock I believe its important to see if the deal is relative to oneself quickly, rather than eveytime 1 thread gets bumped go back and look again at it when it will not be relevant.

Once it's out of stock, people can click the expired button moving it to another forum or leave it alone and it will quickly slip down the board.

We dont have just 1 amazon thread.

By all means post some grabbits yourself to give the board a bit more "life".

So what you are saying is numerous threads for single items are useful because people are too lazy to look through one bigger thread?

This board used to have excellent deals, but some random jacket available in one size only being reduced is really nothing special. It is a great shame, as people are stopping reading because it is difficult to get past all the tat that is posted.

(I don't mean that nastily, just think that you need to see the bigger picture.)

I was going to apply that idea to your post but could not resist :rotfl:

Claire dont get me wrong as said I am one of your biggest fans I just think what is listed on the first 2 pages of the grabbit baord for the time of year is well lame to say the least, but you are right I have nothing better to add but then again I dont trawl the internet looking for things to build up my post count and thankyou count do I??

    :love::xmassmile:santa2::xmassmile:santa2::wave::think::silenced:

I read your post and the first thing that came to mind was "nasty bi*ch", but then don't know what gender you are.:o I normally do not reply to any posts like yours as there is so many people ready to be nasty to others, but this time I have to. Clare does a fab job finding bargains and I have saved a fortune thanks to her. If I see a post and am not interested in it from the title then I don't click on it/read, simple as that. Why don't you do the same??

Instead of writing cr*p, if you 've nothing nice to say then say nowt at all.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

whos to say it's nothing special - its a very good make with 80% off - probably a lot more of a bargain than getting a DVD or something 50P cheaper by using one shop instead of another.

If people are not a size 20 woman - why would they look at this thread ? This thread would be long gone if someone didnt start a debate on it not being a grabbit or it should be in 1 thread - all you have achieved is the thread you didn't see as relevant being at the top of the board ???

No no no not at all sir brain the size of a pea :)

I simply saw it was one of Claires posts and as already said I am one of her biggest fans and automatically checked it out, the I did the same with the quilt thread and felt I had to say something to the fabulous Claire for scraping the bottom of the barrel and filling the grabbit board with rubbish, which is highly unusual for her believe me when there is a real bargain she is the gal that will find it and post it ;)

She is guilty of saving me a fortune and also guilty of making me spend a fortune :T:T:T:rotfl::rotfl:

Now Sir Brain anything else you wish to add? anything at all? you know if whit was shi* you would need a laxative :p

Claire my love carry on doing what you do you know we all love ya ;)

  • If you consider the threads rubbish then don't read them but I suggest you read this post by Forum Manager before you continue this argument any further. That goes for everyone btw :)
