Nissan are advertising on radio that if you take a test drive in the new Nissan Note(?) you will be given free Ice Age 2 dvd when released (1st 1000 people)

There is also a competition on the website, but they say that the first 1000 to test drive this car will definitely get the free DVD (like the OP has mentioned). Hope we're not too late for this.

I suspect probably because most people don't want to go to the bother of test driving a car to get a free DVD - or rather, the chance of getting it. If the title had stated something like "Test Drive a Car for a Free DVD" then I think there would have been a lot less views.

Just my humble opinion!

A friend of mine normally contacts the garage and is very upfront that she will not buy the car but would only do the testdrive to get the free item. Usually they just give it to her. Takes a bit of guts (which is why I never did it, ha ha) but she has a nice collection of freebies!!

I test drove the Nissan Note.

Arrogant woman at Nissan - filed her nails throughout the 20 min test drive.

I mentioned the DVD - no response. I had to find the application form in the showroom. Showed it to her and she said 'Ill sort it out' - I think it ended up in the bin

I doubt if 100 people have test driven it, let alone a 1000, so I should have got one. Who can I chase it up with?

Interesting, as my test drive person also said they'd do the application for me.....yeah right. At least he was pleasant and it only took 1/2 hr of my time.

I took a test drive with my local garage, but they didnt seem aware of this offer. I rang Nissan and they passed me on to ION. I spoke to a lady at ION who are managing this promotion for Nissan. She was extremely helpful and took my details as they didnt take them at the showroom.
Their number was 0208 843 8750.
