Nasty shortbread

Whilst away in South Wales last weekend I picked up a pack of shortbread fingers for us to munch in the car on the way home. They were nasty (not "compatible" with my OS palate perhaps?) & we didn't eat them.

Grim as they were I'm loath to throw them away, so any ideas? I'm thinking crumbed/buttered for a cheese cake base, but other than that

Anyone got any bright ideas to use them up?

Grit your teeth and chuck them in the bin. If they're as bad as that, they won't taste any better in a cheesecake, and you'll have wasted the other ingredients as well

    Hi Lucie,

I know how you feel about being loath to waste them, but to be honest, I agree with the others. If they were so nasty then there won't be a lot that you can do to make them tasty :)
