olive oil is there a cheaper alternative ?

    I get it on offer or from Lidl or use organic rapeseed oil.

    I buy olive oil when it's on offer and use it for salads and for light sauteeing. I think it's harmful when heated at a 'higher' temp though isn't it? ie don't fry with it.Might be wrong (it has been known :p). Love the extra virgin oil on tomatoes yum yum.

    Lidl or Aldi for me when buying Olive oil. Lidl were selling theirs at 2 x 75cl for the price of one last week, so we bought six bottles. It will probably last us until next Spring.
