Apple preserve

Got a glut of apples.

I need to preserve them in some way. Any ideas you genuis OS'ers? :D

    You could freeze them - pureed/stewed they'll keep for about 8 months, raw(sliced) they'll keep for about 10 months.

    There's a jam recipe on here (apple and cinnamon) that I'm planning to try next week.

    In fact, search for 'apples' and you should get plenty of ideas

    I stew them with a teaspoon of cinammon and then freeze in portion size pots. Absolutely yummy on porridge or other cereal (especially if you don't eat sugar). Just get out of the freezer the night before.
