The waiter in pizza express tried to charge for only one 30p pizza and the other two full price.

I brief word with the manager soon got it sorted!

Well, the London Millbank branch had no problem in putting through 30p margeritas all round using just one voucher. As the PE customer services department confirmed that one voucher was good for a whole party (i.e. you do NOT need one voucher per person), I suggest you refer any branch not honouring this to their own customer services dept - tel 0845 389 9489. Take the number with you.

The margins on pizza are huge and unless you just have tap water, they are making money on your visit. Don't worry about Pizza Express, they will be fine.

Just used mine
Took the print out with me and asked the manager before I ordered. She said that she thinks that it was meant to be one per person but that since it's written that the whole party can use it she would honour it.
A bit of a problem when my bill arrived, but once I explained waiter got the manager to put the offer through no problem.
Pizza wasn't that good though, certainly not worth £6.80 each but fantastic getting a meal for 2 for 60p

I agree with you on that one! I got the email last night and the T&Cs were so confusing that it just wasn't worth it. So a 30p pizza for me would have been:

£1 phonecall to customer services to check
50p phonecall to my local branch to check
£1.50 petrol only to get to the local branch and be told a completely different thing by the waiter that customer services and the manager told me on the phone!

A lot of arguments later I would have got the pizza for 30p, ate and walked out. A lot of hassel for nothing.

What a complete and utter farce. I might send an email to Pizza Express on this one. They do fab offers and I'm happy to get their newsletters, however they need to do a better a job at
a) making their terms and conditions clear
b) cascading that 100% clear information to ALL of their staff at ALL of their branches

My Local Pizza Express (Straford) says the voucher is wrong and I need to buy another main course to get this offer.

I didn't push them, just came back.

i rang up and was told i'd need one voucher per person, arrived and was told i only needed one per table! a drink and a pizza for £2.40, not bad at all!

i have a few spare takeaway codes if anyone wants them!
