Give your folks a card telling them you'll do gardening for a few weekends, cooking nice meals, or clean their cars every month.
I'm sure they spent money helping you through Uni, I can't see them wanting you to get in more debt now you've finished.0

Spot on! My son is in exactly your position - finsihed Uni this summer, just started his career. The VERY LAST thing I want him to do is to get into even more debt than he already has.Give your folks a card telling them you'll do gardening for a few weekends, cooking nice meals, or clean their cars every month.

Don't do it - and good luck with your career.0

Your parents would be enraged if you got yourself into debt just to get them something nice!.....0

I say go for it, you'll find some very reasonable rates out there at the moment, don't go for anything over 300% though.
Kidding, you should steer so well clear of this or you'll be in it up to your neck."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

Just googled Christmas Loans and what a load of dodgy websites, most link to sites like Yes Loans and Provident.
It reminds me of those firework shops, which open in October and close in November.0

lambs to the slaughter...they even stand in line...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
