Good Anti-wrinkle cream for gift

Options
Hi. Can anyone recommend a good anti wrinkle cream for my Mum?

When I asked her what she wanted for Christmas this was what she wanted. My budget is £20, but she is a pensioner on a very tight budget, so I want the best value for her. After all, if it's any good she'll need to maintain it throughout the year.

She doesn't want Oil of Ulay as she's been using that and needs something "stronger". Think I'm going to give her some pollyfilla first for a laugh, but it would be great if any of you ladies out there have any recommendations.

Thanks!

P.S. Apologies if I don't comment in the next few days. I'm 41 weeks pregnant so am expecting to go into hospital at any time.

  • The one sold in Aldi gets very good reviews & is only around £2!
  • Boots Protect & Perfect is good, it definately works, you must have seen all the hype!
Cost at the moment is £20.50., if you buy a comb or something so that your total spend is £22.00
you will get a free gift. A small make up bag with a selection of creams and make up., this could be an extra
present for your Mum or a treat for you.

The boots idea is a good one too...

Congrats and good luck on ur awaited arrival x

I'm finding the Aldi £2 anti wrinkle cream just as good as the more expensive brands.
  • Another good one is the Ponds anti-wrinkle cream with SPF 15 (Aldi's is only 4). It's only £3.99 and for me, it's better than the Aldi one. (I went from the Aldi one straight onto the Ponds and my skin definitely looked better).

Have a look at Avon Anew range which focuses on different age groups. I found the 'gold' night cream much better than anything I'd tried from more expensive ranges.
  • Aldi are bringing out a new day and night face cream that comes in a gold coloured pot for around £7, apparently has some fabby ingrdient in there endorsed by various celebs ( the ingredient of course not the cream lol). I saw it in a leaflet in work, tried to do a link to the aldi website but can`t find it on there.

Ive been using the Youth Code day cream, which is lovely and is on offer at various places, including Cheap Smells (online - go through topcashback for money back)

But I think the above is a good suggestion - buy the Protect and Perfect intense serum, add something else thats No.7 to knock it up to over £22 and you get a whole free bag of No. 7 goodies aswell to give her :)
