  • I've done this twice, theoretically, so far this year, once online, and once instore. The online mirror was £20, plus they took 10% deduction, as I'm over 60, from the original price, making it £15.

I was awarded 1 x GWP, with a 250 points coupon, so it would have "cost" me, in Boots Logic, £12.50, but when I did it instore, on a SS till, it only took 10% off the final price, so would have cost me £18.

But the till did allow 2 x GWPs to go through, so in Boots Logic, it would have cost me £13. I'm a real saddo, cos I actually enjoy working out all these permutations, and get ridiculously excited when I've saved 50p!! :j:j:j

And it keeps the ol' brain cells working!

    xx

Well, I've ended up with 8 GWPs from buying gifts etc, largely on behalf of other people :D, which'll keep me in P&P for the best part of the year, so I reckon I've done really well out of it. On one purchase the asst looked very doubtfully at me and said "you know you only get one GWP, don't you?" to which I replied: "well, if the till will let me have more, will you let me have them?". And walked out with 4 - ROFLMAO as DSD was bright red with embarrassment.

Mirror is definately still £20.00 (it does say "save £29.99" above the actual price....)

Scared me then as just about to do a big shop to cash in on points offer and GWP!!!
