Well after loads of nastiness from banks etc im now happy with one. I got my charges back from Halifax. well just gota send the letter off saying i agree.
I claimed just over £400 and got offered £335 this morning. I know people might say persue for the rest, but i havent even got the money to file a claim with money claim, this will enable me to close this account and give me a little petrol money and food money which is desperatly needed. I might even use whatever is lest and that is all im spending on xmas presents this year, cheapo style
It may not seem a lot compared to others but its loads to me and a nice bit of good news. Anyone know how long it takes for an account to be credited once you have sent your signed reply off

i might get my girlfriend some flowers as a thank you for being like she is lol, soppy git aint i. just pleased really summin has gone right

Congratulations, I have just started the ball rolling on my unlawful charges.
I shall be pursuing my banks for all the charges but as long as you're happy that is all that counts.
Well done, this has shown me that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.0 -

Good on you Biglad,
For that amount, you probably did right in accepting, and it came at a time when you needed the money - well done.
