TESCO Big Tins Chocs only £1.77 each

This has already been posted on the Tesco misprices thread, but just in case you don't usually look there-
2 x big tins celebrations (offer is 2 for £9)
2x big tins quality street (offer is 2 for £9)
When you go through the till, it deducts 2 lots of discount, so you only end up paying £7.08 for the 4 tins!
Don't know if it works on different combinations, but def works on multiples of this combo e.g. 6 celebrations and 6 quality street.
Be quick, before they notice!

Well in a Metro this morning I bought 2 tins of Celebrations at 2 for £9, and sadly the offer worked as it should.
Just to warn you, maybe it was a temporary glitch, what time did you buy them? I bought mine around 10.30am today.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I bought mine about 11.30 this morning. I think you have to buy the quality street as well, I expect that could be why it didn't work for you?0

Mine was through the till, as they don't have self-scan in my local store, but with the recent operation/ buckaroo glitch it worked through the till and the self scan so hopefully this is the same. Self-scan is better probably if you want to buy just the chocs as it is less likely to be queried by staff.0 -

i also went to pengam green.. tried same combination and seperatly...
2 quality street and 2 celerations = £18
then
2 celebrations = £9
then 2 quality = £9
Was gutted..luckily i tried the 4 together on self scan then told the lady i needed them on seperate receipts so she removed and i started again!0
