    Hiya!

    Hope this helps!

There are loads of sections if you click the 'free pattern directory' on the left hand side, including Christmas. You can even knit a slice of pizza and a beer! I kid you not - look under the food section!
    Have fun!

I have started knitting some beautiful scarves. A lot of the cheap shops and markets selling some gorgeous fancy/fluffy balls of wool, so I have started knitting some scarves to give to family and friends at Christmas. I bought two balls for 66p each and have almost finished one scarf for my OH's Mum.

They are really easy to make, because it's just straight knitting.

    Ideal gifts for women/girls.

I have knitted stockings for my son & a friends baby this year. I didn't follow a pattern but this is basically what I did :

I used red for the body of the stocking, white for the top & green for the X stitch.

Cast on 100 stitches, knit 40 rows this is the foot part. Cast off 30 stitches, knit 40 & cast off the remaining 30, to leave you with a "middle" bit which will go on to form the long sock part. Knit a further 60 rows then switch to a contrasting colour & knit a further 30 rows in rib (knit on pearl one). Fold in half length ways & inside out & sew together & sew around foot to shape like toes/heal of a sock. Turn in right way & fold over rib bit to half way. Sew in ribbion to use as hanging loop. I also X stitched the names on before sewing the join. Worked a treat & dead simple;)
